We are no exception. Here at Do the Bang Thing Salon we have made every effort to not only meet those expectations but to exceed them. Undoubtedly, this means we want to support those who serve or have served. Our fearless leader, Toby, is an auxiliary member for the VFW Post 1 which is the first and oldest Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in existence. As an actively engaged veterans organization located in Denver, Colorado, Post 1 continues the tradition of being on the forefront of service to veterans and to our country. In addition we also support the Healing Warriors Program, Healing Warriors Program opened July 2013 and is an organization serving the veteran community and their families by providing care therapies that integrate with a service member’s standard medical care in order to achieve the individual’s wellness goals and restore quality of life. In our efforts to support these organizations every year since 2014 we have hosted an annual Veteran’s day Cut-A-Thon. Every member of our team cuts the hair of active and retired military, their families and friends. In lieu of accepting gratuity we take any money veterans and their families wish to leave us and make a donation split between these two organizations.
